Elected in November 2002, Norm Ryan serves as the Board Treasurer, chairs the Finance Committee and is a member of the Administrative Committee and the External Affairs Committee.

Director Ryan is the Managing Director of Public Finance for the largest private securities firm on the West Coast. He has advised water districts and investors on hundreds of millions of dollars in water project financing throughout California .

Mr. Ryan has a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from California State University, Fullerton, and a Masters in Business Administration from UCLA. He is a combat veteran of Grenada, Panama and the Persian Gulf. Mr. Ryan lives in Long Beach with his wife and four young sons.

Director Ryan represents Division Three, which includes the cities of Artesia, Cerritos, Hawaiian Gardens, La Mirada, Lakewood, Long Beach and Signal Hill .
