San Gabriel River Rubber Dams
The San Gabriel River rubber dams project will allow for the capture and conservation of an additional 3,600 acre-feet per year of local stormwater that would otherwise be wasted to the ocean. The construction of two rubber dams in the San Gabriel River will allow for the capture and holding of more stormwater which would be released when the spreading grounds are ready to accept the water for percolation.
