Dina J. Hidalgo currently serves as the Manager of Administration and Human Resources at the Water Replenishment District.  Dina joined the district in November 2019 with over 20 years of professional experience in both public and private sector HR. She is responsible for developing and directing a wide range of Human Resources programs and policies to advance effective talent management, training and organization development, labor relations, safety, and risk management efforts at WRD. Additionally, she oversees board services and the district’s administration department.

Previously, Dina served for eight years as the Director of Human Resources for a local municipal water district where she oversaw talent management, organization development, and strategic planning.  She has also worked as the Director of Human Resources and Organization Development for WISE & Healthy Aging (WISE), a nonprofit social services organization for seniors and older adults.  At WISE, she designed and implemented key organization initiatives including workforce planning, payroll administration, training, and performance management.  Prior to working at WISE, Dina served in the Public Relations and Human Resources Departments at Cedars-Sinai Health System.

Dina is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).  She holds a Master's degree from Antioch University in Organization Management with a concentration in Human Resource Management, as well as a Bachelor's degree from UCLA in Sociology, with a specialization in Business Administration. In her spare time, Dina enjoys giving back to the community through her local church, singing, and traveling with her husband and two children.
